Kristy Gledhill

Kristy Gledhill is a freelance writer and poet living in Gig Harbor, Washington. Currently working her way through an MFA from Pacific Lutheran University’s Rainier Writing Workshop, Kristy’s fascination with telling the stories of place curves the arc of her writing—poetry to essays to grants—and keeps her pen moving. From her hometown of Blissfield, Michigan, to the shores of Puget Sound (and several stops in between), Kristy has always felt compelled to feel her way to and through the images and ideas that help her (and hopefully others) understand what we’re all doing here.

Founder of the South Sound Antiracist Project, nutritional therapist, English professor, personal trainer, yoga teacher, certified Washington beekeeper and 20-year veteran of nonprofit communications, Kristy’s mile-wide curious streak can sometimes make the route bumpy and circuitous, but always interesting.
