Zan is a poet, story writer, playwright and arts advocate. She worked in collaboration with Bitterroot Salish poet, Victor A. Charlo, co-writing Native plays. Stamen and Whirlwind, Zan’s first  book of poetry, was published in 2008. She has an MFA in Fiction from EWU and lives near Latah Creek with her dog, Itzy. She produces and hosts a weekly two hour music mix show,  “Soundspace with Zan” for Spokane Public Radio.
